A long session in health class, discussing methods of birth control and prophylaxis, covering the various methods and how they work. Emphasis especially on how some forms of birth control are also prophylactic, and some are not, and how some forms of prohylaxis do not serve as birth control.

History time was a bit short, but we did get in some discussion of the order of historical events. The students are still rather shaky on which President came before which.

I helped the students construct a timeline of postwar history: who was President when, major events of a given block of years, &c. They needed a lot of help, but I'm looking forward to being able to set them to making their own timeline, without my "assistance". But it may take awhile.

I took the students to the Public Library to look at various online resources. They read several different timelines of events, and were assigned to post at least one substantial comment at the Yahoo group about an item on a timeline (the raising of the Berlin Wall, the Soviet space prgram, &c.).
